Raised by a pair of alcoholics and working through childhood as a laborer, Susan faced terrifying events one night when she was 16. Having been bought by men and sold by her aunt, Susan’s aunt got her drunk in order that she may be easygoing with her buyers. Tied up, raped repeatedly, and possibly left for dead, Susan found a streak of grace when an old man noticed her and set her free.
Finding no sympathy from her parents, they abandoned her to the streets once finding out her rapes resulted in pregnancy. Fortunately, a woman from Rahabs Rope found Susan on the streets… in labor.
Upon being brought to the Women’s Center at the organization, Susan was embraced and cared for. This love allowed her to understand God’s love and his Truth, however, the spiritual battle continues on.
